La Revista de Psicología con Niños y Adolescentes ha publicado en su último número una interesante Escala de riesgo de adicción-adolescente a las redes sociales e internet (ERA-RSI). Dicha escala tiene como objetivo la detección temprana del riesgo de adicción a internet y las redes sociales en población adolescente. Este instrumento se compone de cuatro dimensiones: síntomas-adicción, uso-social, rasgos frikis y nomofobia. Los resultados han revelado que dicha adicción se relaciona con el neuroticismo, extraversión, desinhibición, narcisismo, ansiedad social y estilo de apego ansioso. La escala presenta buenas propiedades psicométricas que la hacen una herramienta de screening muy útil tanto en el ámbito clínco como en la investigación.

The Journal of Psychology with Children and Adolescents has published in its latest issue an interesting Scale of adolescent addiction risk to social networks and the internet (ERA-RSI). The objective of this scale is the early detection of the risk of Internet addiction and social networks in the adolescent population. This instrument is composed of four dimensions: symptoms-addiction, social-use, freakish traits and nomophobia. The results have revealed that this addiction is related to neuroticism, extraversion, disinhibition, narcissism, social anxiety and anxious attachment style. The scale has good psychometric properties that make it a very useful screening tool both in the clinical field and in research.
